Photo of the Week #7

This week I wanted to share a photo I took in Gangnam area of Seoul. It is a statue representing the Gangnam Style by Psy dance! Do you know Gangnam Style?

    1. Hi Celia!
Gangnam Style was a really popular korean song that came out in 2012. It has over 2 BILLION views on YouTube!

  4. One of our students Luciano thinks that Gangnam style means "fancy Korean." Is that right? I'm relieved that dance has gone out of style ;/

    1. That is accurate. Gangnam is the most fancy/expensive area of Korea, so having "Gangnam style" would essentially make you someone who is very "fancy." I am also relieved, there are definitely much better dances out in Korea now.

    1. Unfortunately, I am not too sure how long it took, but it is a pretty statue so it probably took a while.
