Photo of the Week! (#1)



Hello everyone! For my photo of the week I chose to post a picture I took at the Gamcheon Cultural Village in Busan, South Korea. Busan is a city in the South East region of Korea. The village is really colorful right? The village hasn't always been so bright. It was built in the 1920s-1930s as a space for people who didn't have a lot of money. However, in 2009 the government decided to paint it and provide fun spots that people could take pictures at. Nowadays it is one of the most popular places to visit in all of Korea!

      Oh wow! That sounds so interesting. What was your favorite food you had at the veg fest? I am considering going vegan when I get back to the states to live a healthier lifestyle. If you have any vegan foods you like let me know!

      There are a lot of sports I don't know if I can name them all. However the most popular are baseball and soccer!

      My friend from Brazil actually said the same thing! I think the style definitely seems a little out of place for Korea, so it makes sense that it is similar to another country.

    Jocylin! to anwser your question for the veg fest my favorite food there were pockets. Pockets are bread but inside the bread is vegan chese and it depends on the type like vegan ham.

    what kind of wild animals are at korea?

      Korea doesn't have a lot of different wild animals but they do have ones like deer! Probably the most unique wild animal here is the wild boar. They are actually the most dangerous animal in all of Korea and can really cause some damage if they come into the cities so people have to be careful. There used to be tigers, wolves, and other big animals but unfortunately they have gone extinct. :(
